UNIVERSITY OF BRIGHTON UNVEIL NEW
THIRD GENERATION PITCH

The University of Brighton officially opened their new full size third Generation pitch installed by McArdle AstroTurf. 

The official opening was a huge success with the Brighton Centre of Excellence taking centre stage at the beginning of the evening. Mr Jerry Fairclough, the man behind the original idea of an all weather pitch for the University of Brighton said “It has been a long time coming and I am proud that it has finally been achieved”.

The pitch has been designed to be used for football and will also be used for American Football.
A fantastic match between the University Men’s team and Brighton and Hove Albions’ coaches and past professionals then finished the evening.

As part of the McArdle Group and established for more than 30 years, McArdle Astroturf’s past acclaimed projects have included high profile systems installed at Manchester United Football Club and the Commonwealth Games, as well as working extensively with schools, colleges and local authorities.
