THE SPORTS ARENA AT LIW 2006

McArdle Astorturf Sponsored the Sports Arena at Leisure Industry Week this Year.

Michael Davis Sales and Marketing Manager for McArdle Astroturf said it was a great opportunity to show off the products that Astroturf has developed to support the sports industry.

We used the arena to install a 5-a-side pitch complete with the latest Astroturf M50 Surface and 5- a –side goal, this was to show delegates the advances in Football / Rugby synthetic surfaces.

The response we had back from delegates was fantastic they could come to the arena and listen to the seminars /speakers like Sir Trevor Brooking from the Football Association who spoke in-depth about the future of grass Roots football in this country.

Dave Collins Performance Director for UK Athletics .gave a unique perspective on how Athletics plans to deliver the success the British public are now demanding, And David Gent from Sport England Head of Regions was uniquely placed to lay out the future both for his organisation and the wider industry.

We have come back to LIW this year because the show has a strong Sports and Leisure section which is growing year on year.
