      <title>Official Opening of Two Artificial Turf Pitches at the High School of Dundee</title>

Constructed by McArdle Sport&#45;Tec, the new state of the art facilities benefit from one full&#45;size FIH Global TigerTurf WETT Pro water&#45;based artificial surface suitable for top level hockey.&amp;nbsp; For the second full&#45;size pitch, the TigerTurf Evo Pro surface was chosen.&amp;nbsp; As well as a high standard of hockey, the Evo Pro sand&#45;dressed surface also allows the pupils to play a high quality game of tennis.
McArdle Sport&#45;Tec worked with specialist sports pitch consultants Sports Labs Ltd, as well as a number of other consultants on this prestigious project, to ensure a top class facility was delivered.
The first competitive hockey match played upon the new pitch resulted in a resounding win for the High School of Dundee&amp;rsquo;s Boys&amp;rsquo; first XI.&amp;nbsp; Let&amp;rsquo;s hope this is the first of many.

Their Health and Safety was to a high standard and the quality of their product was as good as promised!&amp;rsquo;
Chris Wilson of Hereford Academy also commented that users of the pitch have stated that &amp;lsquo;It&amp;rsquo;s the best pitch that I have ever played on&amp;rsquo;.

The new pitch was installed by Premier Partner McArdle Sport&#45;Tec Ltd at the Pound Lane site and was project managed by Boddingtons Chartered Planning Consultants.
John Fordham, Chairman of the Sports Club, and Graham Sweet, Chairman of Marlow Hockey Club, thanked all concerned for a job well done, and emphasised how this new facility would help the club especially with their junior development programme.

The project was funded by a donation from the Roger De Haan Charitable Trust and the land provided by Shepway District Council.&amp;nbsp; The facility is owned and run by The Cheriton Road Sports Ground Trust made up of volunteers from the local sports clubs.
