• Marlow HC gets Pro Value

  Marlow Sports and Hockey Club's new artificial turf pitch Marlow Sports and Hockey Club recently held the official opening of the very first Evo Pro pitch from UK based manufacturers TigerTurf.  The opening was attended by both England men and women teams coached by Jason Lee and Karen Brown, playing against the Marlow Hockey Club squads.

  
  

  The new pitch was installed by Premier Partner McArdle Sport-Tec Ltd at the Pound Lane site and was project managed by Boddingtons Chartered Planning Consultants.

  
  

  John Fordham, Chairman of the Sports Club, and Graham Sweet, Chairman of Marlow Hockey Club, thanked all concerned for a job well done, and emphasised how this new facility would help the club especially with their junior development programme.

  
  

  The TigerTurf Evo Pro surface has already attracted interest from neighbouring counties who are also looking to produce similar facilities.  The F.I.H. have also issued a press release on how well this surface can also accommodate other sports often making a substantial difference for ongoing commercial viability.
